Home Visits

Doctor's bagThose who are housebound can be visited at home by the GP. Please phone as early as possible to request a home visit and be aware that the GP will probably wish to call you back to discuss the details.

Anyone who normally is able to get out and about should attend the surgery if at all possible. Children should always be brought to the surgery for full assessment.

Home visits on Lismore will be planned to fit in with the appointment system, with an early visit on Thursdays being an option if required.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
